Fodé Lassana Diabaté

Lassana is Mali’s leading balafon (xylophone) player. He was born in Guinea, but relocated to Mali in the early 90s. He has played a central role as Lucy duran’s as research assistant and interpreter, and also performs the theme music to the film “Do farala a kan” (“something has been added”).
